I love coffee. And while I don't have the most sophisticated nose, my wife does and she's super picky with what black coffee / espresso she drinks. And she loves it. We live in the Pacific Northwest, home of as many rosters as there are brewers. Lots of options out here. That said, the Kauai Blue Mountain Specialty Peaberry is bar none our absolute favorite. It's an investment to an experience. Not unlike drinking a really nice bottle of wine, this one is to be savored. My favorite way to grind the beans is medium / fine and poured as an expresso shot with a bit of hot water (think strong americano). This pours really well as a pour over or French press, as well.
