Ingredients for Easy Tiramisu

  • 2 cups Kauai Coffee (brewed strong and cooled to room temperature)
  • 4 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional but recommended)
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 24 ladyfingers (about three packages of store-bought. Find them in the bakery section of your local store.)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Fresh berries for garnish (optional but elegant)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Brew the Coffee

Brew 2 cups of Kauai Coffee and let it cool to room temperature. Add two tablespoons of coffee liqueur if using. We recommend Koloa Kauai Coffee Rum

Step 2: Make the Mascarpone Mixture

In a mixing bowl, use an electric mixer or whisk to combine the room-temperature mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, and sugar until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Whip the Cream

In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream with the remaining two tablespoons of coffee liquor until peaks form. Gently fold the mascarpone and sugar mixture into the whipped cream to create a sweet and airy filling.

Step 4: Dip and Layer the Ladyfingers

Quickly dip lady fingers into the coffee mixture and place them in a single layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Tip: Dip the ladyfingers very lightly on both sides. Do not allow them to soak up too much liquid. 

Step 5: Add the Cream Mixture

Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the first layer of soaked ladyfingers. Repeat the process with another layer of ladyfingers and top with the remaining filling.

Step 6: Dust with Cocoa Powder and Chill

Dust the top layer of cream with unsweetened cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) for the best flavor.

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy
