Love my peaberry coffee from Kauai Coffee

This coffee is right in my sweet spot. It is medium roast, smooth and full of flavor without being bitter.

Peaberry

There are no words to fully describe the first cup of coffee in the morning when it’s peaberry except AAAAH!
All is right in the world after the first sip. As a mater of fact it’s 6:10 AM and I am on my way to exactly that!
Thanks for making my morning.

Yes, it is SO good

I’m a coffee enthusiast and ex-barista. This coffee is exceptional and I prefer it to Kona Mountain Peaberry and Rusty’s (although they are also top tier coffees). I have ordered the dark and medium roasts on a subscription and couldn’t be happier. The medium roast is my favorite by far (I am ordering the 24 oz every 8 weeks, and the dark every 4 weeks in the 16). This is worth the $$ and if you are contributing to tourism in Hawai’i and your from the mainland, this is a great way to support local!!

My brew comes out tasting like bright citrus notes, and a smooth brown sugar finish. Zero bitterness, mellow acidity. My beans are dry, not oily. Right now I’m doing a 1:17 ratio on 25 grams of coffee at 200 degrees for about 195 seconds, whole beans ground to each pot (25 clicks on my Commandante C40). Looking forward to playing around with my recipes!!! I will be trying a 1:18 ratio and play around with temps. If anyone is reading this I’m wondering what your recipes are and what flavor combos you got!!

Anywho, Mahalo/Salamat/thanks from the Bay Area!!! I am now a life long customer!
