I visited Kayak in 2022 and again in 2023. We stayed at Pona Kai overlooking the Ocean. The coffee packets were supplied by the owner of the apartment we stayed in. We went to the plantation and were very impressed. After I returned home I ordered a case of the coffee packets. After all this time I keep ordering the cases. The coffee is wonderful, not bitter plus they are so easy to use and clean up after.
The Kauai Coffee filter packs are a welcoming gift for the guests of our Princeville Resort short term vacation rental. It's our way of introducing our favorite coffee to our guests and contributes to our goal to support the Kauai economy. In addition, we encourage coffee lovers to visit the Kauai Coffee plantation and shop. Many of our guests buy additional coffee and continue to buy Kauai Coffee, after returning home. We love Kauai Coffee and all of the other local businesses we recommend to our guests. We are proud of our 36 years of contribution to a more vibrant Kauai economy.
We love this local product and leave a couple packets for each guest at our condo in Poipu. The only request we would have is that there be a local pick up option for orders (we typically buy one case at a time). Currently, local orders are shipped via U.S. Postal Service who will not drop the item(s) if no one is home. Makes it a hassle as we either have to reschedule delivery or pick up the item(s) at the local Post Offfice.
Otherwise, we enjoy working with Kauai Coffee !

I use the pods usually but got this for traveling and it works great. So easy to go on a trip with and doesn’t take much room in my suitcase. Most places use regular coffee makers so it works out.
The small size packs were out of stock a few months ago, so I had to order one-pot pkgs of coffee from "another" Hawaiian coffee company! But I like to promote Kauai and Kauai Coffee with my guests at my vacation rentals in Poipu and Lihue, and am glad to have the small packs back to give each guest at the beginning of their stay. I also include the Kauai Coffee link and encourage them to take the tour!
