The Kauai Coffee Estate’s Peaberry Coffee is one of their premium offerings & not a blended coffee. I bought mine as whole bean which is a great way of maintaining freshness. The Peaberry Coffee provides a very smooth, refined taste with no bitter aftertaste. All a matter of personal preference but it is one of my favorite Kauai coffees. If you are seeking a bolder flavored coffee, then I would suggest another variety like the Kalaheo dark roast. But, if you are a coffee enthusiast that prefers a smooth, non bitter coffee then the Peaberry is a great choice. As a tip, I would suggest using a French press to extract more flavor if you think the drip version is too mild.
